We had an excellent tour of the old silk mill. The guide (an ex-policeman - sorry I can't remember his name!) was really interesting and informative and demonstrated how the very well preserved looms work. It's best to book ahead for the guided tours because you can't go around the mill by yourself. I'd recommend the tour if you have any interest in Britain's industrial heritage. In my opinion the museum is ok but the tour is the best part.
