Nice area by a reservior. Has toilets and mobile cafe and lots of walks. Car parking charge
Pleasant area to explore, with your choice of forest paths and reservoir walks. The amount of wildlife around is really nice to see. Worth exploring if youre in the area.
This is a great place for a walk. Several colour coded walking routes, from easy to strenuous. It's a beautiful area with wonderful scenery. Only downfall at the moment is some paths are partially closed due to fallen trees, making you unable to do a circular walk. Apart from this, it's a lovely place. Trentabank car park is pay and display, but there are plenty of marked bays on the road which are free parking.
This place is great!The walking paths are mostly uphill but they are paved with gravel and not too steep so the stroll should be easy.Grab some decent hiking shoes as the terrain might be quite muddy - especially the car park and lower parts of the hills.Do not park your car wherever you want as I've noticed police and parking wardens presence - you might get yourself unwanted ticket.
OK place to park for a walk around the forest. If you park closer to the reservoir however it is free and only a 5 min stroll away. It's a great place to take the dog for a walk. Would benefit from more dog bins however. There's a little cafe here that serves hot food too.
