They let you bring your dog in. Good range of beers and the food is pretty good as well. It's a big place and was really busy on the weekend we visited. I suspect that's true of most weekends. They let you bring your dog in is the most important thing.
Gorgeous food, carvery is a family favourite. Lovely atmosphere and grounds. Staff are amazing.

The food was out of this world. Staff are friendly and despite the size of the beautiful building there was a warm and cozy feeling to the building and great to see that children and dogs are welcome. Such a lovely atmosphere. I shall definitely be returning in the future.
The setting is wonderful and the service is good but you can have an extended wait for service. My main issue which took a couple of stars off the review is the small portion sizes to high price ratio. Not one I can reconcile or recommended for those looking for value for money. What I had did taste very nice, but not enough of it in my opinion!
