Wife was an inpatient and went for an mri scan. When I asked if it showed anything staff nurse said she didn't think my wife had been for it. I was on the ward when she took her down to mri. Total lack of communication. If you are going here get a taxi unless you want to spend an hour trying to find a parking space.

Had my daughter here by planned c-section, was given no pain relief for 10hrs after delivery despite requesting it numerous times, in the end I sent my partner to go and buy me some paracetamol and ibuprofen and took them. Midwifes were overstretched and rude, they didn't seem to care about their patients and got the feeling we were an inconvience to them. Awful experience.

my GP spoke to the hospital about my swollen abdomen filled up with fluids and spoke to the surgeon explaining the case , the surgeon was happy to drain the fluids and do a scan. I went to A&E in Macclesfield hospital , they took some blood of me and after waiting for 4 hours Dr Bogdan came to see me , and after having a look at my abdomen she decided that She needs to do a scan first which can take up to 4 weeks. then decide what to do with the fluids that are increasing everyday and my abdomen getting more swollen and painfully uncomfortable.

Arriving at Macc on a Friday evening with my autistic Son. He had fallen and banged his ear. I was immediately put at ease with the sign highlighting it as an autism friendly hospital and listing who there is trained in autism. The triage nurse asked how they can help him best. Once in the very quiet childrens room which had its own autism information boarda doctor saw is very quickly. She took 5-10 minutes letting my son examine her with her stethoscope and letting him look in her mouth with the light. The doctor was fantastic and did the quick check she needed to do to send us on our way. As an autism parent a trip to a & e is pertrifying with all of the unknown variables that come with it. This could not have been smoother. Thank you to everyone for their understanding of my sons conditions. Well done macc a & e.
