Wow what a fantastic place. Room was clean and had all you need for a weekend stay. Bed was massive. People were very helpful and friendly. We had 3 course dinner which was amazing, piping hot and well worth the cost. Breakfast was just as good with plenty of choice to help yourself to. Will be recommending to family and friends and are definitely going to pay them another visit when the weather is better.
Lovely area. Nice buildings. Only went for lunch. Food good. Staff pleasant. There are also golfing and spa facilities.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. The hotel has huge grounds so perfect for a walk. The pool/Spa and gym are worth using especially the gym as it has lots of equipment for different parts of the body.The hotel is under refurbishment as some parts of the hotel are showing its age. But once complete I'm sure it will be even better.
Lovely stay, sweet hotel. Middle of a renovation so it will be nice to come back when it's finished. Food in the restaurant was superb, both evening meal and breakfast. Lunch in the bar was poor, but overall lovely stay. Thank you.
Just returned home after a 2 night stay with 5 friends, what a fantastic time! Although they are currently undergoing a major refurbishment, our stay was not effective at all. Every single member of staff was efficient, friendly & professional, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was wonderful & all in all a very enjoyable & much needed treat, which will most definitely be repeated next year. Thank you.
