Finally found the place hidden at the bk of shop. Asked if they had a room for 2. Very pleasant welcome until I saw the room. It's seriously just a flat which has been separated into rooms. Decided not to stay as as I struggle with claustrophobic, the room was extremely small & so was the others. Both women asked us to leave & became very hostile towards us.. Luckily enough we talked to the barber next door, & he told us there was a Travelodge just a few minutes down the road.
We was looking for somewhere to stay in the area, and we always check reviews. But I'm absolutely shocked to see nearly every post as a response of being reported to the police!?! This firstly doesn't look professional at all, and secondly surely the police have better things to do. This looks shocking from a business point of view. Therefore we will look elsewhere!
This is the definition of a hidden Gem stayed here after a Xmas party great room, brilliant facilities comfy bed and welcoming full English breakfast served in the morning.
Fabulous weekend here. Huge bed, lovely room with extra treats of complimentary teacakes, chocolate bars and crisps. FRESH milk for tea/coffee - a lovely touch. Debbie an absolute delight, breakfast superb. Nothing to fault, will return soon.
