Nice and clean location with nice and helpful staff. The views and noise may be a bit off-putting for some, but if you can come to terms with it then it is a nice play to stay. Also conveniently close to the train station, making it ideal for commuters.
Standard clean Travelodge facilities in a nicely converted old building. Nice friendly staff and very comfortable beds. Tea and coffee making in the room. We always avoid the rather sparse breakfast boxes at Travelodges but there's a choice of nearby cafes and supermarkets with better value breakfast so that's not a problem.
Absolute dump. I'll never stay here again that's for sure. Now don't get me wrong I've stayed in travel lodges before and never had a problem. But this place was by far the worse. To top it off all we had for our clothes was 5 hangers in the corner. The after a were stained with what looked like blood specs and ink. We complained to reception only to be told there was no staff on to change them. 2 nights we stayed and they never changed them. Definitely never stay here again
Noisy neighbours yelling and banging on doors at 3am-4am sadly wrecked our plans for rest and relaxation. Bed was comfy, room clean and staff friendly (and apologetic).
Good room. Good bed. No restaurant facilities on site, but plenty of options available in central Macclesfield.
