Delicious food. Friendly atmosphere and efficient friendly staff
Last minute booking. Had the suite which was self contained and spacious Clean room. Hotel and room need a refurb as dated! Cleaning staff did not have a trolley so towels left on window ledges in the morning. Woken by unwrapping of towels first thing. Reception staff friendly on the phone and we had a lovely meal in the evening in the restaurant. Bar staff were knowledgeable and customer service excellent. The deserts were amazing! Pastry chef deserves an award! Service a little slow but very friendly! Food at breakfast was excellent quality but staff at breakfast abrasive and did not ask if all was ok with food and did not say goodbye when leaving which was disappointing! A little soul less in the hotel in general but good value.
Unfortunately, the food was poor & overpriced. A couple of our party got food poisoning from the meat. The service was good but avoid if you like your food
Beautiful food and attentive, welcoming service! As we visited on a Sunday we were able to enjoy the Sunday menu (that includes the Sunday roast options) The food was exceptional quality and perfect sized portions meant we were suitably full. We can't wait to visit again!!
Oh dear, not what it was. Took two or three attemots to take order for pre-dinner drinks. The person who made the booking didn't get the table that they had specifically requested. Ambiance not helped by stark lighting and poor standard of painting. When we eventually sat down the food was good.
