Terrible place, got charged 100 fine to park in the car park when we booked a table for 8 for lunch, outrageous. Will never return. The food was rubbish too
The Legh Arms lacks atmosphere, hospitality and they couldn't even find two matching wine glasses.We had a 750ml bottle of wine at 28 and realised that we would have saved 1 by having three 250ml glasses at 9 each. On Saturday night they sounded last orders at 10:30 and locked the door. Granted that we were the only part of four customers in the whole place. I always try to find some positive comments to make but in this case there really were none at all.
Great facilities, great food, great service and dog-friendly. The owner and staff really went out of their way to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. We loved it and will be back!
Good atmosphere, attractive traditional wood panelling. Beer well kept. No gaming machines or juke box thank goodness. Piped music in main bar but quiet further away.Typical bar food looks fine.
